The Mitre, Hampton Court Hotel - Kingston upon Thames (Greater London)

Every time in Kingston upon Thames, I choose this place. The property is clean with a lovely design, and the continental breakfast is warm. Glad I took classic room, it was fashionable and unique.

By and large, it was useful base for sightseeing in Kingston upon Thames, had much fun and met courteous and nice stuff in the hotel bar-member of staff. The breakfast was very good, the check in was early. Moreover, parking was on-site.

The area was uninviting.

Eating in the restaurant was a lovely experience overlooking the river.

it features good-sized and functional rooms with a large bathroom and nice fresh bed linen and thoughtful touches.

Warm atmosphere and bright and adequate rooms with huge four poster bed.

The friendliness of the staff, especially in the restaurant.

The room was situated beside a stairway which proved noisy. Guests being a bit noisy.

It was a very comfortable hotel, with very attentive staff. Very close to rail link into london.

Only negative was when we went to our first allocated room it was not ready. Within minutes of drawing this to the hotels attention we were upgraded to a better room.

The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was ideally located for visiting Hampton Court Palace, which was the main reason for our stay.

The stairs and corridors could have been cleaner. The hotel was somewhat expensive compared to the services offered by similar hotels.

Overlooking Hampton Palace and a river...

Tried to overcharge me, charging for a breakfast for 2 even though we didn't have one, lame excuse made that they hadn't got all the slips back from the restaurant so they charge everyone for breakfast and take it back off, if people tell them they didn't have one, outrageous!!! How many people don't notice?

lovely location next to the river, the bar opens out so you can sit on the terrace right over the Thames. Rooms were great, huge beds!

Rooms not particularly noise proof, could hear floorboards above creaking, and people talking in room below. But would still recommend this lovely hotel!

We liked our room and enjoyed the meal we ate in the resaurant.The cuisine was excellent and the service both at reception and in the reastaurant was faultless.

very convenient for travel to London as train station is opposite. Good location opposite Hampton Court and next to river.

The Mitre provided a comfortable stay with spacious accommodations, with a large bed, mini fridge, and a cozy sofa. The staff were cute and efficient, especially during the check-in process. The location is excellent, merely across the street from Hampton Court Palace. The riverside terrace offered a lovely ambiance for relaxation after a long day at work.

Limited parking was a slight inconvenience.

Excellent location for visiting Hampton Court Palace just across the road and two steps from the train station. The room was very comfortable clean and the total atmosphere of the hotel very relaxed. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at an hotel. A superb mini break. Thank you.

For quality of hotel the bathroom was very poor and needed updating
